Kompuestos inaugurates new production line and increases its production capacity
- The new production line, located in one of its production plants in Palau-Solità i Plegamans (Barcelona) has a total nominal capacity of 51,000 tons
- Kompuestos equipment is divided into 31 production lines with a maximum total nominal capacity (sum of the maximum nominal capacity of the individual equipment) of up to 220,510 tons
Kompuestos (Plásticos CompuestosS.A.), a company listed on the Spanish Alternative Stock Market (MAB) and a leader in the production of sustainable compounds for plastics in Europe, has started up a new production line at one of its plants located in Palau- Solità i Plegamans (Barcelona).
This new production line, which has a total nominal capacity of 51,000 tons, will make Kompuestos' production process more versatile, making it easier and faster to adapt to market demand.
Kompuestos equipment is divided into 31 production lines, and the sum of all of them reaches a maximum total capacity of up to 220,510 tons. In addition, Kompuestos has recently increased its production capacity from 104,150 nominal tons to the current 220,510 nominal tons. To this end, the company has added new compounding lines to reduce the carbon footprint in the production of plastics and lines with a combined nominal capacity of 9,460 tons for biodegradable solutions.
